Maternity Reflexologists aim to optimise the health potential of the pregnant woman. They will give the client reflexology advice but will not give medical or obstetric advice, and must ensure that a client with any problems is put in the care of an appropriate Clinical Practitioner.

The Structural Reflexologist® seeks to correct foot problems by seeking the cause of painful symptoms. First by assessing foot structure, alignment, and joint and muscle tension, and then with intent, purpose, and precision, utilising Reflexology, massage techniques, and gentle traction, to bring the feet back to a stage that is comfortable and functional. Thus relieving symptoms presenting in other parts of the body caused by compensation.

Auricular Reflexology

Auricular Reflexology works through the stimulation of the external part of the ear with the same way as traditional foot and hand reflexology: that the whole body is mirrored on the ear. Stimulation to a specific point on the ear that corresponds to a specific point in the body, will bring balance to that area either through an increase or decrease of energy. The ear is supplied by numerous nerves and it is believed that Auricular Reflexology also works by directly stimulating the central nervous system. There are over 200 acu-points on the ear which are used in Chinese Acupuncture. In Auricular Reflexology we use a selection of these and instead of using needles, we stimulate the points using finger and thumb pressure, applying ear seeds where necessary.

Just like the feet, the ears are a microsystem of the entire body. Organs, glands & systems of the body are mapped out on the ears.

Ear reflexology has powerful benefits & can have rapid results due to the close proximity to the brain. Ear reflexology may be helpful for the relief of symptoms in conditions such as headaches/migraines, sinus issues, tinnitus, neck, back & shoulder tension, allergies, inflammation, stress & anxiety, insomnia, pain relief plus much more.

When combined with a foot reflexology treatment, it further enhances the treatment to give more rapid results.

Reiki & Seichem Healing

The method of receiving a Reiki treatment from a practitioner is a very simple process. The recipient simply lies on a couch and relaxes. If they are unable to lie down, the treatment can be given in a sitting position. The main thing is for the recipient to be as comfortable as possible.

There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki will pass through anything, even plaster casts. The practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body. The whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms.
